Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to subscriptions and purchases made for GeniuSolver ("GeniuSolver," "we," "our," or "us") through our website and Chrome extension. By subscribing, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. General Policy

All subscription fees and token purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or explicitly approved by GeniuSolver at our sole discretion. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods, unused tokens, or dissatisfaction with AI-generated responses.

2. No Refunds for AI Output Quality

GeniuSolver uses third-party artificial intelligence providers, including OpenAI and Anthropic (and their latest available models), to generate study guidance and explanations. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated response.

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations, including but not limited to:

  • The AI provides an incorrect, incomplete, or outdated answer
  • A question is too complex, ambiguous, or outside the scope of what the AI can reliably explain
  • You disagree with the explanation, method, or level of detail provided
  • Token usage occurred while receiving responses you consider unsatisfactory

You are responsible for reviewing AI output and using your own judgment. GeniuSolver is not responsible for any incorrect answers, academic outcomes, or decisions made based on AI-generated content.

3. Third-Party AI Services

Our Service relies on external AI infrastructure operated by third parties. We do not control model behavior, availability, or output quality. Service interruptions, model updates, or changes by these providers do not entitle you to a refund unless we determine otherwise at our sole discretion.

4. Billing Errors and Unauthorized Charges

If you believe you were charged in error (for example, duplicate charges or charges after a confirmed cancellation processed correctly on our end), contact us within 14 days at support@geniusolver.com. We will review legitimate billing errors and may issue a refund or account credit where appropriate.

5. Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account billing settings or customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund fees already paid for the current billing period.

6. Chargebacks

Initiating a chargeback without contacting us first may result in immediate suspension of your account. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks and provide evidence of Service delivery and acceptance of this policy.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of GeniuSolver after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
